Our full-length 60cm heavy duty latex gauntlet gloves comply with EN374-3:2003 permeation / breakthrough tests.

A glove must achieve a performance index of 2 or more (equivalent to a 30 minute breakthrough time) against a minimum of three test chemical products to gain approval as a 'chemical resistant glove' using standard EN374-3. Our 60cm latex gauntlet gloves exceed this standard and have also been tested for resistance to other chemicals, see table below.

EN374-3 (2003) performance index / breakthrough times as follows;

1 = >10mins, 2 = >30mins, 3 = >60mins, 4 = >120mins, 5 = >240mins, 6 = >480mins
